About Us
FinIQ is a student-led platform making finance simple, relatable, and fun for the next generation. Driven with the mission to help raise their financial IQ, we help teens build smart money habits and understand the world of finance through podcasts, comics, articles, and practical tools. No boring lectures, only real-world content.
Mahima started FinIQ in 2024, after taking a summer class on financial decision-making. After surveying her peers, she realized that many teens didn’t know the basics of managing money, and that exposure to finance often felt complicated or unrelatable. She launched FinIQ to close that gap, creating content teens could actually connect with.
Today, FinIQ offers a range of resources: the My Two Cents podcast with real money conversations, a comic book series introducing younger kids to finance, resource templates, and soon, an AI chatbot to answer financial questions on the go.
We’re here to help students feel confident about money, because financial literacy is a life skill, not just a school subject.

Hello! I’m Mahima, a student, founder of FinIQ, and a firm believer that learning about finance doesn’t have to be boring. I’m passionate about helping young people take control of their financial future through fun, accessible, and practical resources. Beyond academics, I love exploring ways to combine leadership and creativity, whether that’s
through dancing, leading my school’s DECA chapter, or developing projects that make a meaningful impact in my community. I’m always looking for new ideas, challenges, and opportunities to grow, and I hope to inspire others to do the same! I’m passionate about making finance education more relatable for my generation and excited to keep learning, creating, and sharing along the way.
